Most commercial generators that fail in an outage were never tested under load. They start on the weekly exercise, idle for ten minutes and look fine, then shut down the first time the building actually leans on them. Our maintenance plans exist to find that problem on a Tuesday afternoon instead of at 2 a.m. in an outflow storm.
Every plan is aligned to CSA C282-19 for emergency power systems. We keep a digital or printed logbook, exercise the transfer switches and run the set under load, and you choose the cadence that fits your property and your authority requirements.
Strata buildings in Clearbrook with fire pumps and elevators, clinics and dental offices on South Fraser Way, downtown restaurants with walk-in coolers, wineries in Mt. Lehman, and poultry and dairy barns on Sumas and Matsqui Prairie where a failed generator means lost livestock.

The base plan for every commercial generator we maintain.

Put your generator on a plan before the storm season.

At least 60 minutes at 30% of rated load or more, so wet-stacking and weak parts show up early.
We exercise and inspect every switch, because a generator that runs but never takes the load is no backup at all.
Plan customers call one line, day or night, and the tech already knows the machine.
We only do generators. The technician who services your set has commissioned hundreds of them, from 22 kW homes to three-phase barn sets.
Monthly inspection and functional checks are the base plan. Higher-risk sites like clinics, stratas with life-safety loads and livestock barns usually add quarterly and annual work. We set the cadence to your property and to what your authority requires.
CSA C282 is the Canadian standard for emergency electrical power supply in buildings. It sets out inspection, testing and record-keeping for emergency generators. Our plans follow it, including the logbook and the under-load run.
Yes. We simulate a power failure and run the generator under load for at least 60 minutes at 30% of its rating or more, then record oil pressure, temperature and voltage in the log.
Yes. We take over most makes, start with a full inspection and a load run, and give you a written list of anything that needs fixing before it is put on a plan.
